HP 8620 Ink Cartridge Replacement Guide
- Make sure that your printer is on.
- To open the printer ink access door, pull the slot located on the left side of the printer. The cartridge carriage will automatically move to the printer's left side to prepare for its replacement position, so wait for it to stop moving before proceeding completely.
- Push the empty ink cartridge inwards to remove it from its slot.
- Get your new CompAndSave HP Officejet Pro 8620 ink cartridge and open it over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case it leaks, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill ink cartridges. Make sure to touch the black plastic part only, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color, as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
- Insert the HP 8620 printer ink cartridge into the appropriate slot for its color. You should hear a snap indicating that it is locked in place.
