Kyocera FS-C5025N Toner Cartridge Replacement Guide

  1. Open the printer's top cover.
  2. Turn the lock lever to unlock position, then carefully pull the toner cartridge that needs to be replaced out from the printer.
  3. Get your new CompAndSave Kyocera FS-C5025N cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Shake the toner cartridge five to six times and avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  4. Insert the new toner cartridge into its respective slot and gently push it down until it is firmly seated in place.
  5. Close the printer's top cover.

Kyocera FS-C5025N Toner Cartridges FAQs

What is the difference between original and compatible toner cartridges?
OEM or Original Equipment Manufactured cartridges are toner cartridges that are made by the same company that manufactured the printer. Compatible toner cartridges, on the other hand, are produced and filled by third-party companies. The parts used are brand new and are not recycled from OEM toner cartridges. The same procedure applies to compatible ink cartridges. Both provide the same quality of printouts, but the compatibles may surpass the OEM and are sold at a much cheaper price.
Are third party toner cartridges good?
Absolutely! CompAndSave's generic, compatible, replacement, or remanufactured toner cartridges are designed to meet or exceed the OEM specifications. This means that you can get the same print quality and the number of prints without paying as much compared to the original Kyocera Mita toner cartridges. Aside from this, using generic toner cartridges will never void the printer's warranty. So you can shop and use our toner cartridges without any worry. Can I throw away empty toner cartridges?
About 1.3 billion cartridges are used every year. That is why it is highly preferred that toner and ink cartridges are recycled than letting them end up in landfills. You can bring your empty toner to local or big retailers or even to your local recycling facility. You can also check some websites online, like earth911.com, to look for recycling options for your cartridges.
