How to Install Oki MB470 Toner Cartridges?

  1. Lift the printer's scanner assembly.
  2. Open the toner access cover by pressing the cover release button.
  3. Turn the lock lever to unlock position to release the cartridge, then carefully pull the toner cartridge out from the printer.
  4. Get your new CompAndSave Okidata MB470 toner cartridge, open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  5. Carefully align and insert the new toner cartridge into the slot, left side first. Turn the lock lever back to locked position to secure the cartridge.
  6. Close the toner access cover and put the scanner assembly back into place.
