Ricoh P502 Toner Cartridges Replacement Guide

  1. Open the printer's front cover by pressing the cover release button on the right side of the printer.
  2. Unlock the toner cartridge by pulling down the lock lever to unlock position. Grab the toner cartridge that needs to be replaced by its handle, then carefully pull it out from the printer.
  3. Get your new CompAndSave Ricoh P 502 toner cartridge. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any mess in case of a powder leak, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color, as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  4. Carefully align and insert the new toner cartridge into the drum unit inside the printer. Turn the lock lever back to its original position to secure the cartridge.
  5. Close the printer's front cover.

Ricoh P502 Toner Cartridges FAQs

Is it OK to use compatible or replacement toner cartridges?

Absolutely! CompAndSave's generic, replacement, or remanufactured toner cartridges are designed to meet or exceed OEM specifications. This means that you can get the same number of prints and print quality without paying as much compared to the original. Plus, our cartridges will never void your printer's warranty. For more information, check our ink knowledge base, and you will be redirected to the right page.

Can I throw away empty toner cartridges?

About 1.3 billion cartridges are used every year. That is why it is highly preferred that toner and ink cartridges be recycled rather than letting them end up in landfills. You can bring your empty toner to local or big retailers or even to your local recycling facility. You can also check some websites online, like earth911.com, to look for recycling options for your cartridges.

Why is laser toner so expensive?

OEM ink and toner manufacturers claim that the high cost of these cartridges is due to the research and development of technologies to deliver high-quality ink and toner cartridges. However, it is worth noting that there are generic cartridges that exceed OEM requirements while being less expensive than their counterparts. CompAndSave's compatible and replacement ink and toner cartridges are engineered to meet or exceed OEM standards. That means you can have the same print quality and page output without spending a fortune. Please keep in mind that using generic, remanufactured, or replacement cartridges will never void the warranty on your printer.
