How to Install Xerox Phaser 4620 Toner Cartridges?

  1. Open the printer's toner access door.
  2. Grab the toner cartridge by its handle, then carefully pull it out from the printer.
  3. Get your new CompAndSave Xerox Phaser 4620 printer toner cartridge. Shake the toner for about four to five times before opening it from the package. Open the cartridge over a sink or garbage can to avoid any messes in case of a powder leak, as sometimes, factories tend to overfill toner cartridges. Avoid touching the bottom part of the toner, then remove the covering tape that is usually bright in color as well as the plastic protective case, if there is, before installing it.
  4. Carefully align and insert the new toner cartridge into the slot until it is secured in place.
  5. Close the printer's toner access door.

Xerox Phaser 4620 Toner Cartridges FAQ's

Does shaking the toner cartridge help?
Yes, it does help. Shaking the toner cartridge is usually one of the steps that need to be done before installing a new toner cartridge to your printer. By shaking the toner, it will evenly distribute the toner powder inside of the cartridge for quality printouts. Shaking is also one of the troubleshooting steps you can do in case you're getting uneven print quality from your toner. What is the difference between original and compatible toner cartridges?
OEM or Original Equipment Manufactured cartridges are toner cartridges that are made by the same company that manufactured the printer. Compatible toners cartridges, on the other hand, are produced and filled by third-party companies. The parts used are brand new and are not recycled from OEM toner cartridges. The same procedure applies to compatible ink cartridges. Both provide the same quality of printouts, but the compatibles may surpass the OEM and are sold at a much lower price.
