How can I Tell how Many Pages a Printer Cartridge will Yield?

You can check the cartridge packaging or manufacturer's website for the page yield of a printer cartridge.

In our website, simply scroll down to Product Specifications and look for Page Yield.

Canon, Hewlett-Packard, and Kodak are among the major manufacturers who have backed a standard proposed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for determining how many pages a single cartridge should print.

Before this standard became more popularized, manufacturers could choose their own measurement standards, meaning you could end up with a cartridge with a low page yield. Not all manufacturer's use this standard, so it's important to be aware of this when purchasing a cartridge while looking for a good value.

Why am I getting a Low Ink Error if my Ink Cartridge is Full?

There are two causes for your printer to get a low ink error when your cartridge is full:

Printer Memory

Your printer may not recognize your cartridge's correct ink level because it still contains the ink level of your previous ink cartridge.

The first thing you should try is pressing OK/Cancel/Dismiss/Stop/Resume/etc. on your printer to simply continue printing. You can also follow these steps.

Internal Cartridge Electrical Damage

If you are still getting a low ink error after trying this, even after you've replaced your cartridge, there may be internal electrical damage to the cartridge. There is typically no error for this issue, so your printer will typically just indicate the ink is low.

However, if you already replaced your cartridge and tried a few basic troubleshooting steps, the cartridge may be defective. Check the cartridge for damage or missing parts. If you find any of these problems or even if you don't, you will want to return the new cartridge where you purchased it from and replace it with a new one. If you have purchased from us, please call 1-833-465-6888 or Live Chat.

If you are using a refill kit to refill your cartridges, it's important to note that you will, eventually, need to replace the cartridges, as they will wear over time causing the same ink refill error.

Do I have to Remove the Clear Tape Covering the Vent Hole Where the Ink Comes Out?

This clear tape is intended to protect the ink cartridges from leaking.  This means that there's NO NEED for you to remove it before installing the ink cartridge to your printer. Your printer will automatically puncture this clear tape upon installation.

Are These Waterproof Printer Ink That Can Be Used Outdoors?

We have pigment-based ink available that when paired with waterproof printer paper, effectively becomes waterproof labels and documents. Pigment-based ink also has superior fade resistant feature of up to two years in an outdoors environment.

Pigment-based ink is made of pigment particles that are suspended and not dissolved in its liquid solution. It enters the pores of printer paper and resists being washed off or degrade by UV light and other elements.

Waterproof printer paper works by having special plastic coatings and fiber that stays in shape and texture against outside elements.

Dye-based ink would not be able to last long under sunlight as the UV radiation outdoors will make ink fade faster. On a cold weather, it will expand as it freezes. This can crack ink cartridges due to the pressure caused by the ink expansion.

Certain cartridge models carry pigment-based ink which is a fade-resistant, waterproof printer ink. Please check your printer if its cartridges carry pigment-based ink. Don't forget to pair the ink with waterproof printer paper such as waterproof inkjet sticker papers.

Looking for cheap ink cartridges? Feel free to check our brand printer pages for remanufactured HP ink, Epson ink, Brother ink, Canon ink, Lexmark ink or other cheap printer ink cartridges and search for your printer model through the list provided.

In some printer models designed for heavy printing, XXL cartridges are also available.

How long will it take to get my cartridges?

With standard shipping, cartridges generally arrive anywhere within 2 to 10 business days from fulfillment. The delivery time frame is dependent on the shipping method you choose at checkout and whether you are located outside the US or not. Most cartridge orders offer anywhere from standard to next-day shipping for orders in the US. What is a Compatible Cartridge?

Compatible cartridges are non-OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) cartridges. They are manufactured by a third party factory to meet or exceed OEM specifications. The difference between a compatible and a remanufactured cartridge is that compatibles are not made from recycled cartridge parts, while remanufactured are.

Each printer cartridge is carefully researched, manufactured, and tested. New compatible cartridges are added to our list on a regular basis.
