How easy is it to install a remanufactured or compatible ink cartridge?
Each cartridge is installed the same way you would install an original OEM ink cartridge. They are individually wrapped in foil or a plastic bag and have the tab on top (which you remove when installing the cartridge, - just like the OEM cartridge). Every time you replace any cartridge (OEM or compatible), you should clean the printer heads using the head cleaning or nozzle cleaning utility that comes with your printer.
Depending on your printer, you can clean print heads from the printer itself or from your printer utilities in your Control Panel. To access your printer utilities go to: Control Panel -> Printers -> Properties -> Utility.
