Are there any best buy inkjet printers I should avoid?

The Lexmark Z735 is advertised as a best buy inkjet printer at a price of less than $50. Sounds great, right? Not quite. It uses a single cartridge with three ink colors: cyan, magenta, and yellow. Where's the black?

Lexmark claims the color inks can create blank, but testing by PC World revealed that the Z735 produced very poor text and graphic images in its output. It also lacks the capability of printing directly from a digital camera nor does it have a media card slot. It also has a flimsy plastic case and has a slow printing speed.

With all these downsides, the Lexmark Z735 may just be one of the worst choices in inkjet printers for home or school use.
